We’re not going to wait. Too many are getting it wrong now, today. Do something today that could have an impact on Diabetes Awareness Month for 2012. Ready?

Are you living on life support? I’m amazed when I read or hear some of the stories people relay living life with their children and the ‘new’ normal of diabetes in the household. Some good, some not so good. But let’s focus on the good and see if it can help those who live with such adversity in their life. Ask yourself this as you move forward reading, am I living to the fullest or am I allowing myself to be beaten?

Diagnosed with type 1 diabetes in 1991 in his first year of law school at the age of 24 he was not to be deterred in his quest to be the best. Well, it’s finally here. Jill said to me a few nights ago, “Let me know your schedule, the school wants to meet about Rob’s 504 plan.”

I said okay and of course, two days have gone by and I have yet to give her dates I am available (as I state, when it comes to diabetes, no one makes more mistakes than I).
