- Hello Tony, I live in Etobicke, was clinically dead in 1977, in Boston, with a BG of 880, since then as a LION member have been a ROLE MODEL to over 40.000 and as a computer rookie, have found a way to mentor to those new members in areas with little or no diabetes info and ask them WHAT DO YOU NEED IN YOURAREA TO IMPROVE YOUR DIABETES PREVENTION & AWARENESS, PROGRAM. I will be asking insulin-users to call 5 DIABETICS and have them join with me, in silence,and say THANKS FOR INSULIN, giving hundreds of millions of us a chance to live healthy & productive lives TODAY. On JULY 30 INSULIN APPRECIATION DAY, maybe I will circle the globe with diabetics responding that day. AMIGOS will be selling BLUE ROSES, TO SUPPORT www.restorethebantinghomestead, com, we use this flower because of its meaning, "ATTAINING THE IMPOSSIBLE" our mission and motto.
