- Welcome to our family Tonya! Hope we can help you out. Can't tell you a whole lot about Type 2 but if you need any help at any time with Type 1 I guess I can help out I men aince I've been a Type 1 for 34 years and my 19 (almost 20 ) year old has been a Type 1 for 8 almost 9 now!!!
