Anne said… - Hey friend Tracey...how goes it on the pump for you? Is it becoming almost second nature, your link to better control? I hope so. I can't wait for my next A1C blood test, I know it will be so much better than in the past. Mine is very useful to be sure...except those moments when I find this awkward gadget dangling by a line when I change sometimes...mostly I remember to clip it somewhere though. I feel often that the dreaded diabetes no longer rides me...that I can steer and charter my control now. How about you?

- Hi there Tracey. You will start before me. I begin on the Mon 30th March, in about a week. I do know now I'll be on the Medtronic Paradigm 722. I'm feeling nervous day by day...how about you? I really want to give this a go for 3 months at least and from what I've read I'm expecting it will help me to get my A1C down to below 7.0 I've heard because pump is so flexible once you know how to use it...people tend to eat more...and then put on weight. I want to lose weight so I'm planning the opposite ...to reduce carb intake & exercise more. Best of luck with this...it's a big change & adjustment isn't it? I'm mentally preparing myself for it. I was just thinking its like being diagnosed again...working everything out from the beginning! Let me know how it goes for you I'm really interested...and we're in the same boat right now. peace & love Ax

- Not sure which pump they'll put me on yet...I've still to attend my appt to test out lines but it will be whatever is available thru' the hospital. We'll be going onto pump at the same time won't we?
