Wow - nice to meet another lifer of diabetes (I've had T1 since the 60's). Like you, since going onto the pump, less hypos then on MDI. Tho' I did take a pump break this year since I'm a diabetic mentor - and wanted to get back to my roots - and prove to clients that you can have control of your BG's with abit of work. Being on the pump has made me know how to use my insulin more efficiently - and the needles now - at 32 gauge compared to the horse arse needles we used (I used to use glass syringe) - are heaven sent :)
