As sick and unfun as this issue is, I'd almost choose it over the challenges that men have with sexual function and diabetes. I'm not sure which is the lesser of two evils really but I wouldn't wish either on anyone in their "prime" tee hee.

I see Dori too and Dr Abe DeSantis as well at the UW. Both are fabulous. Dori really understands the psychology that goes into eating habits on top of all of the nutritional facts. She's been there forever and is a HUGE help. Dr. DeSantis "gets it...

I'm sad that I didn't get a chance to go. What did you learn in the Diabetes and depression class? It's something I'd like to know more specifically about.

First of all, kudos to you for getting back on track. I know first hand how tough that is. It might be worth a discussion with your doctor to see if you could tolerate one dose of the oral medication that treats yeast. It is rough on some of the o...

Welcome to TuD! I keep hoping that I can make it to one of your meet-ups. We always seem to have other plans at the same time. What area do you live in? I've never heard of Pe Ell. =)

Hey Trisha, welcome to tudiabetes! There's a group for us NW diabetics that you might be interested in, which might be a good way to get your word out about your social group. By the way, if you didn't know, there is a Diabetes Expo in Seattle this weekend. You will find more about it on the NW group site.

Hey, a hometown girl! I'm pretty newly diagnosed with type 2 and never even saw it coming-but probably should have. I really like this site it is the first one I've belonged to. I probably wouldn't be able to get to Seattle but would still like information on groups you know about. Thanks for contacting me!
