"This is very interesting, because the whole idea of this research was based on the contributions of the DOC, and the strongest principal of online communities is open access to, and sharing of, information. A bit contradictory imho."

How do you hope to benefit from TuDiabetes?
To share the TuAnalyze project and results with TuDiabetes users

Welcome to the official page for the TuAnalyze application!

The mission of TuAnalyze project is to empower people touched by diabetes to track, share and compare their health information for research advancing diabetes care and public health response. Beyond that, we want to be able to provide meaningful feedback to our users for contextualizing their experience with diabetes. The TuAnalyze map already provides a real-time display of A1c within the TuAnalyze community; in our blog, we will be posting more detailed findings from the survey responses.Follow our blog to be updated whenever new results are posted. And if you have any questions, comments or suggestions for what you want to see out of TuAnalyze, please let us know!

Thank you for your note: we agree this would be very helpful. Our development cycle for the TuAnalyze application has this type of functionality available only at a later date--this type of reporting back is computation intensive for automatic display and in some small sample sites, breaking down participants by characteristic can be quite revealing. We will try to pick these ideas up for analysis and feedback through other mechanisms (we have in the past blogged to the community and shared research findings including by posting tables and graphs and even slide decks of results). Please continue to share questions and ideas--your ideas are valuable.

Can MORE data be added to your TuAnalyze map?

Can "Diabetes Experience": be another table that can be analyzed? My state for example provided a fairly small sample size. But I for one would LOVE to know who my peers are who provided that data in terms of their diabetes experience(s).

How old are we in my state?

How many years have we been diagnosed and achieved these A1C percentages.
Under 1 year?
Under 5 years?
5-10 years?
10-20 years?
20-35 years

Etceteria. Can this kind of data be added/priovided to the state tables?
