I have had Type 1 Diabetes since the age of eleven. Recently I learned I was pregnant and now am dealing with the complications and implications of having a surprise pregnancy with T1D, and so far I would not reccommend it. :( I am also a teacher at a public school in Oakland, which is challenging but rewarding. I have a wonderful fiancee and two loving dogs.
