Yeah we out more than we should... a good book is Calorie King. It has the carb amounts for a lot of dinning in and out places... along with alllll types of foods. I enter my insulin and carb amount onto my phone then at the end of the week (or every 2 weeks) I put my sugar levels, carbs, and units into a spread sheet that I email my doc. I can email you the spread sheet if you need/want something like it.

Sure! Shoot! I didn't realize that I put 6.0! I'm 6.4. Sorry for the confusion! :-P
I test before each meal, carb count, take my humalog before each meal/testing and lantus at dinner. Everyone is different, but that's what's working for me.
Good luck with controlling your sugars. Are you carb counting or on a sliding scale?

Hi from the Type1s! So far we have met up on the Westside, but I'm sure we could find a location that could work for all of us. If you have any ideas just send some emails.
Bye!

you're welcome. I've been here at the TuD for over a year, and I like to revive older discussions when I can remember them! There are so many good ones if you go to "Forum" and look around.
