10 units of Lantus solostar (or less) every night achieves a FBG of 85 to 79.

Though the first year was challenging, I've eliminated grains and sweet fruits. During the summer I consume mostly raw foods.

Enjoying life, this one singular life, is my aim.

Whilst waiting to get my first appt with the endo, I'm attempting to keep my numbers between 85 and 140. On days when the glucose is high, I feel great - full of energy. On days when it is low, I feel sloppy, stupid, useless.

I want to let you know how very much I appreciate you. Mom and Dad gave you a wonderful height and lovely dark brown hair with all its radiant hues. Over time, your eyes have grown greener like Mom's.

I recall fondly when you were young how you really enjoyed sprinting. You were very good at it. I also remember how amazing you looked in that emerald green dress that Mom made.

I often marvel at how you work. Your brain is amazing - how it computes, processes,…

Just wanted to say... I've been vegan for thirteen years, and dx t1d for six years. I tried going gluten free and all organic for five months about a year before I was dx because of symptoms that it of course didn't help. I didn't have any honeymoon post dx- had high insulin needs and unstable numbers from the get go.
