glad you are doing ok...

one-of-a-kind, eh? Hmm, I get that alot /wink

anyway, keep an eye on your bloodsugars, that is what you need to do until you get into your appointment. You have to take your insulin and eat, ok? quit looking for ways/reasons not to have to take insulin.

Silly for coming to the site? hmm, that might upset a few folks who, like myself, who rely on this site for support and info. But that aside, you are not silly. You had questions so you went out and got answers. Nothing silly about that

Oh Veronica---You are NOT asking totally weird questions!!! I am so happy you found us. My husband's an emergency manager and when I showed him your post about your intro to diabetes he was outraged and said you should file a malpractice suit. He apologized, of course, because none of us can afford the time or money or energy for such things. But really, it is a sad statement about healthcare and ignorance within the system.

Keep asking, my dear. I'm a T2 and not much practical help, but I will definitely be rooting for you. You can trust all those good folks who are responding to you. Here are the voices of real-life experience and generous hearts who truly want to help you!!

Take care.....Judith in Portland
