How's the New Year?

Here we are, 2014. It's already February and I have been crazy busy with schoolwork. My second semester just started and I am enjoying some fun new classes that I am taking. I hope all other students are having a good school year. Also, I hope that everyone is working on their New Year's Resolutions and feel like they will accomplish all that they have planned for this year.See More

Sophomore

Just over a week until my school starts and as usual it looks like the rainy season has started before school. I'm a sophomore this year and I finally get to take some classes that I was not able to take last year.      Hope all the other sophomores are looking forward to a new and exciting year. -WillowSee More

Hi, my name is Willow. I am 15 years old and in ninth grade. I have had type one diabetes since I was almost two. From about the time I was in second grade I have been doing the majority of my checking, shots, and logging. My dad is the one of my two parents that helps me the most with my diabetes. I hope to make some new friends here and get help with all sorts of things.

Welcome to the family!! On this forum you will learn so much. Most of what you will learn is that you are not alone. Everyone here is supportive and will provide answers to your questions. Search the site for answers. Read the discussions and blogs for information. There are videos to help you understand diabetes and its treatment. Most of all there is family to talk to and vent to, if needed.
