I have been away from this site for far too long!! I am so happy to be posting here again. I am also so happy to say my A1C is at 7.4 again. I know its not great, but its better than it has been. I still have diabetes

Its true. I woke up this morning, checked my blood glucose, and realized that things had not cleared up. I still have diabetes. It's not like the flu or the cold. It doesn't get better.
Anyway, thats why I'm still working hard to raise cash to find a cure. I am doing a fundraiser event this coming weekend for the Mission Hospital group in Southern California. I hope to raise some big bucks! I am also happy to be working with the Whittier Diabetes institute in La Jolla California. The art… Continue

- OK...now I understand. Actually, upon visiting your page, I sensed there had to be a good explanation....you don't come across as one to stir it up for argument's sake :) My concern was that someone would read your comment, and it would be the start of yet another another type 1 vs type 2 confrontation. I think having diabetes makes us special, as we are fighters and in a sense heroes.(all D types)
