Iceland :) ...one of the most popular destinations it seems ..are you a FB user ?? If Yes, "Team Diabetes" will get you there , LIKE and the rest I am sure you know .I visit every so often and sign up for Webinars ( specifically directed to " fund raising " and members share, what works for them or for those who want to find out about the program .What seem to work for me is the ASK via e-mail , hand delivered letters , members have donated towards mine and I match ( this way we both get a tx receipt) .Instead of BD , Christmas gifts etc. , friends, fam donate to my event.Next BD we will have a " party " at a local fav coffee shop ; those who attend can choose from menu , hubby will pay the bill and a min of $$$ is asked .I have added a discussion in the Canada Group , which I try to update regularly .I was interviewed by local paper about my event in A'dam ...this got people to donate :) ...only a few top of my head ideas ...if you like , I can give you via a pm our e-mail address ?? cheerio , N
Please ASK about Team D ; will direct you , if I don't know the answer(s ):) ...promise !! ...I will do my 12 th event in Amsterdam 2013 ...my BIG question , which one did You sign up for ??

We're so happy that you're finally here! Welcome home aconnell....fellow Canadian. May 29th....3 weeks ago!!! How's it all going??
This is a great place to share, to learn, and to grow...all the while meeting new people world wide, and making friends.
Take a peek at some the groups when you get a chance. Just go to the top of your page, and click on "Groups".
Once in, you can either peruse the wide array of available groups....or simply type a specific interest in the space provided.
Take in some of the blogs/discussions as well.
The resource boxes at the top of the home "Home" page, and
"About us" at the very bottom of your page and every page (the footer), offer you more information still.
