Wow i'm so bad at this!!! Being diabetic is such an important part of my life... i don't know i'm not better at coming here more often and chatting with everyone. Its amazing to know there are so many people out there that know what i go through. You all amaze me in your strength and kindness!! if anyone ever wants to chat or shoot me an email.. my email is aimeeperez@gmail.com!! i'd love to hear from you! :)

What's up?

Hi everyone... Alright so I'm obviously new here... I'm a Type I... was diagnosed 22 years ago... struggled with it for a lot of years.. but ended up on the other side... maybe ended up is the wrong way to say it... I worked my butt off and made it to the other side. I've been on the pump for a year now and I love it.. it was a hard decision to make but it changed my life... as I know it has done for many other people. Hi Aimee. Welcome to tu! There are a lot of T1's out there..I've found this out now. I think that the diabetes online community has saved me in many ways....I've acknowledged the large part D. plays in my life. It always have--I just didn't like to say so. Now I blog and visit tu and other blogs and feel much happier as a diabetic to have some support, even virtual. :)
