"Hi Amy...so sorry your husband is going through so much. The best I can suggest is for you to write a blog and see who replies. His fasting BG is still pretty good, by diabetes standard...so who knows, your doc might want to go the route of exercise…"

His fasting BG is still pretty good, by diabetes standard...so who knows, your doc might want to go the route of exercise and nutrition for the time being. But if they detected glucose via urinalysis vs blood work, might be different...as glucose could be above 10 (180) before it is detected in urine (depending on his threshold....differs from person to person). I'm sure your doctor will answer your fears.
Take care...try not to worry (easier said than done) and keep us posted ♥
