My work on the Diabetes Hands Foundations
Hello, I am Andreina Davila, I am the Creative Director, co-founder of the Diabetes Hands Foundation, under which this community runs. I also happen to be Manny's wife. Together with our board of directors and advisors, our administrators our great group of volunteers we run this community.
If you have any questions, ideas, comments or concerns about the community please do not hesitate on contacting me. I am always looking for better ways to connect our initiatives with your needs as members of this community. (our members)
A little bit more about my work on DHF: As an officer and staff member and I am in charge of overseeing the design for our online communities (TuDiabetes.com and EsTuDiabetes.com), developing and implementing branding strategies including web design, logo design, marketing and advertising collateral, printed promotional materials and retail merchandise products. (yes, we are working on this) I am also in charge of developing and implementing our awareness initiatives unit, (word in your hand, drawing diabetes, newsletter, etc) involving the community by means of art and/or design projects. Manuel (Manny) and I work together on fundraising, general operations and administrative tasks.
Separate from this, I am artist, owner of Evolve Art Studio. I am from Venezuela, went to College there for Architecture, and in 2003 graduated from a MSD on Interior Design (ASU, AZ). Currently, I live with my husband and son in the Bay Area, CA.

- hi Andreina! One of my friends here was asking about flyers. Remember the one that we could print off on the computer and had the little "tear-off" strips? I'm sure it said TuDiabetes.com instead of .org - anyway, I can't seem to find it.
Spring is taking its own sweet time coming around, but we are seeing some signs - bulbs are putting out little bits of green leaves, and we saw the swans (mother and father) today bobbing in a part of the lake that's not frozen.
