I been a diabetic since nearly 1989, it started after I was given some harmone treatment for my Endometriosis. I was started on tablets like Euglucon, Dionil etc but they all worked for a short period so in 1994 I started on Mixtard porcine 18 units in the morningbefore b reakfast, but later was told to take in the evenings also. After 2 yrs I was put on Mixtard Human 12units morn and evenings. I had my ups and downs with taht too. I was also on oral medication at the sametime. I also developed BP so i was put on metformin and stamlo. Recently since an year or so my readings kept showing high inspite of injectings and exercise and diet. Now I am on Apidra solostar 22units thrice, Basalog 40units in the night time along with Glimi-2 twice, Carbophage-1 twice, starpress-xl 50 once in the morn, Rozat-10 and Telma-40 at the night time. I am taking Remylin also. I am on lookout for alternative treatments so that my diseace can be purse friendly and more mangeable.
