If you've had diabetes for more than 20 years, then this is the group for you. Let's share stories from diabetes history and what has and has not worked over the years for us.

I started at 209, with my BG rising fairly fast. I ended my 14 minutes (partially on treadmill) with a value of 228, and the curve is now heading down. It's raining a lot in Massachusetts.

I continue working on a Diabetes Search Engine built with Google technology. It now searches over 1,300 sites all about diabetes. This include 340 diabetes blogs, and over 85 sites selling diabetes products. I donate the advertising revenue to support Dr. Denise Faustman's research into a type 1 cure.

Please try it out and let me know if you find it useful. And if you know of a diabetes site that you don't find in the search engine, I'd love to know about it.

Hi Bernard, are you going to make the Pump Support Group meeting in Woburn on Nov 14? It should be a good meeting with a lot of members from both the Pump Support Group and the DESA Group there to hear the rep from Dexcom tell us about the latest developments in the Dexcom7 CGM. I am seriously thinking about getting a CGM and its between Dexcom and the Abbott Navigator. Many of the people in the Pump Support Group who have the Navigator say its the best and since there will be a lot of CGM users at the meeting I'm sure some great questions and answers will be heard.

thanks for the response. I had already moved the receiver to the other room and just brought it back. It's right on target again. It's been a couple of hours. I rarely use pain killers, but i had a tooth extracted and the dentist wrote me a Rx for someting that contained tylenol. Killed the pain, but knocked me out too. Won't do that again.

I'm sorry I will not be able to make it today. I'm having a weird blood sugar day, lows and highs and lows again, and I don't think it is the best idea to ride my bike 6 miles to the meet up. Please keep me informed of the next one. I'm really bummed. Hope you all had a great time!
