A1C Below 6.0 On Diet and Exercise ONLY

People with Type 2 Diabetes who can offer insight of how to control diabetes with Diet and Exercise alone and maintain a 6.0 or less A1C. Extremely difficult to do over a period of time.

Diagnosed Feb 2011 with full blown Type 2 with A1C of 8.9; lost 25 pounds; A1C lowered to 6.1; as of last check up Oct 2011 A1C remained at 6.1. took an online nutrition class and now run nutrition workshops with adults at local wellness center; my goals are the prevention of obesity and diabetes.

Take a peek at some the groups when you get a chance. Just go to the top of your page, and click on "Groups". Once in,
click on "all groups". You can either peruse the wide array of available groups....or simply type a specific interest in the
space provided.
Take in some of the blogs/discussions as well.

"About us" at the very bottom of your page and every page (the footer), offer you more information still.
