I did manage to convince her to bunk with Kit who also happens to be T1. Stress makes Missy's BG drop like a rock so I'd feel better if she were somewhere where they knew the deal intimately. Welll I see you have gotten a great amount of feedback.. I will make it short and sweet----Good Carbs versus bad carbs, the diet she is following is fine, and if she has energy and her blood work is healthy for a child her age, then she is just fine, I would not worry. At the same time there is nothing at all wrong with inputing some healthy complex carbs, such as a Sweet potatoe or an apple, or hey what about some steel oats with almond butter in the morning, all of those suggestions, are super , supers healthy, and break down slowly in the body, but amongst other things they delay the breakdown of sugar....Good Luck to you..
