I use IV3000 to keep everything on but even then, that starts to peel up around day 3 or 4 if I am lucky. And it's hard to pull the IV tape off without ripping the whole thing out. I'm a 6th grade teacher. A teacher is defined as someone who teaches or instructs but I see myself as doing more than that. I listen, heal, guide, mentor, and learn myself. The students look to me for guidance and support. But there are days where I look to them just as much.

It's been almost three years since I found myself in the hospital at the age of 21 with a new diagnosis of Type 1 diabetes. They went on and on about how it was Type 1.5 blah blah blah. All I knew was that I was now dependent on insulin and needed it for the rest of my life. So began my new adventure :)
