"Have you tried the glp-1 drugs (victoza, byetta, bydureon). They are injectables and work well in some. Byetta actually sent me into a second honeymoon for a bit."

"Agree with Matthew's suggestion to try porcine or bovine insulin. There may be some binder in pills, or a preservative in insulin that you're allergic to. There was a member who had an allergic reaction to needles & was trying to find…"

"Thanx Stemwinder This is why i ended up in Hospital, with out insulin i will most certainly die, how can I take it when I am allergic to all forms of Insulin and pills...this is very serious for me. The frequency of these side-effects is unknown…"

Ok so I was diagnosed with type 2 diabetes 6 years ago and have found out i am allergic to all diabetic medicine, pills and Insulin. I ended up in the hospital a week ago due to severe dehydration they hooked me up to potassium as well as Insulin, My whole body swelled, my eye felt like they were going to burst out of the eye socket, I was given Novorapid to take three times a day when i was released and it did the same thing, Everything I take has the same allergic reactions, is there…

So glad you have joined us Cherie. This place has so much to offer. There are groups for people with like circumstances or interest. Blog posts where members convey their thoughts and experiences. And there are the forums where we come together for discussions.
I see that you are T2 taking shots. If you are insulin dependent you might want to visit this group

Take a peek at some the groups when you get a chance. Just go to the top of your page, and click on "Groups". Once in,
click on "all groups". You can either peruse the wide array of available groups....or simply type a specific interest in the
