Hi!
I saw how good your A1C is! I'm wondering what you do for eating/exercise?
I have been trying to keep my blood sugar under 200 to bring down my a1c - i eat more fiber and protein as well as ride my bike everywhere/go to the gym 3 times/week.

Hey Chrissie - on animal insulin I **feel** the FULL MENU of hypo symptoms -- LOUD AND CLEAR. The first few days on it I woke up in the middle of the night in pools of sweat, cold and weak when my sugar dropped just below 60 mg/dL. On Apidra or Humalog -- I never had those symptoms. Go figure. Symptoms of LOWS are more identifiable and pronounced as it's *falling* on animal-insulin, too.

Hey Chrissie!! How on earth have you been? I remember your blog last year about the seasons changing -- and blood sugars doing a weird thing. Did the same thing happen yet this year :) I've notified the same -- and I'm trying to keep my daily dose of sunshine as high as possible! I hope your days are as sunny as possible!! Best, Allie

Hi Chrissie,
Sorry I didn't realize you didn't know how to copy link and paste. I'm glad you had someone to help you with it.
I didn't pay attention when I clicked on comment and when to your page to send you that link but today I did and clicked on add as a friend.
I like you, have lived with D for over 40 years, 48 to be exact and I am also a pumper, so that makes us veterans. You'll see from my page if you click comment to answer this post. I live in Philadelphia, PA.
I have some blog posts but their on my webpages at TuDiabetes and Diabetestalkfest.nim.com. Living all these years and not having anyone to communicate what it is like to live with this disease I appreciate the internet because it has allowed me to, finally find my place in the world. Also to be able to chat with others is the icing on the cake lol.
