Hi cmixon! My hair is the opposite. Poker straight. Those of us that have straight always want curly or wavy. I had a perm once and ended up looking like a head of curly lettuce. My hairdresser would never give me another perm rightfully so. I lived with it for a little bit, but my brother made a comment...the one and only time he ever has commented on one of my haircuts. Went to my hairdresser and had it all cut off. I was really short then! I looked like I had just joined boot camp :o) I do have a funky cow lick that drives me crazy if I go past 5 weeks with out a cut. That is the most "wave" I ever have now!

I had to give up coloring a while ago because of having bad reactions to the color. Now I just have highlights done. Luckily my gray strands blend in mostly with the highlights...for now. The darn roots do show, but I am lucky with my short cut that they blend fairly well. Not very well past 5 weeks though. My hair grows very quickly. I was Auburn a while back, but alas it was not as flattering on me.
