Thanks Colleen in NH. If there is one piece of advice I would pass on to everyone is do whatever you have to do while you can to get fit and strong to prepare yourself for a possible event like this. Being in good condition is what is making it possible for me to recover so quickly.

They call me catfish Kay as I have been a listened fishing guide since I was 27yr old and am 72 now and still fishing. I'm T2 since 2005 and tried the CGM and don't have the time for all that calibrating junk. It's bad enough to have the infusion set but I've gone a week before changing as I didn't want to waste insulin and changed when my insulin run out. I also didn't have the finances to pay for the $300.00 refill of resevoirs and infusion sets every  3 mo. I got assistance so changing every 3-4  days now but when your A1C is 5.7 I guess it didn't  hurt changing sites every 5-6 days.I think it's a money thing for the manufacturers if you ask me when your A1C stays that good. I'm also a Med  Tech so could keep track of all my lab. No,you can use the sets more than 3 days and the resevoirs.  Catfish

Ha ha! I am sure you will have no trouble finding it! I had a message earlier from our friend Briam Piccolo! We were just talking about him. He has started using a DexCom. I hope it is as useful for him as I have found it to be. I am on day 13 with this sensor. The tape on this one is starting to peel. i will definitely not make it more than 14 days.
