hey no worries I am glad you are doing well. I am doing well, too. Lisa and the baby are doing great and he's scheduled to arrive in early December. I am renovating my house, and I am starting up a vaccine factory for work in North Carolina. In fact I am getting on a plane soon so I gotta run.
Sorry about the basals, you know, they are really hard to get right and even in 3 years I still tweak once in a while and whenever the temperature swings (like in Fall and Spring). Glad to hear things are better now! Keep up the great work.
Just wanted to say hi - I was diagnosed Type 1 in 1988 as well, about 8 mo. after you. I worked as a lab rat for many years, in a number of areas including the cardiovascular effects of insulin and pancreatic islet transplantation.
Did your diabetes influence your decision to become a researcher?
