(don't we all) my son type 1 is 12 diagnosed 4 years ago. we were told to always have a protein with the carbs so for breakfast he has frozen waffles sugar free syrup milk and two sausage patties. or sometimes scrambled egg and cheese burrito and milk and fruit. peanut butter and apples are good too
