- Help me to cope with my daughter not taking care of her illness and she does not live at home which makes it worse for me.

- I am an older mom who adopted my grandchild as a newborn so in my heart she is my daughter not granddaughter. My husband died on April 13 of 2011 and we had planned for our daughter to go to college.Instead she decided to move in with an old boyfriend so now she has no job and no college. She started cutting herself and telling the most horrible lies I've ever heard and told these lies to the people in her church. This is all totally out of character for her since she has been the best child anyone could ask for until recently. She was also diagnosed with Inflammatory Bowel Disease or Chron's two summers ago and that is always flaring up. I just looked at her meter and saw that 14 days out of 35 she didnt even take her blood sugar. I don't know if I should try to have a judge put her in a hospital until she straightens out or what to do.
