a look at this reminds me of hard times overcome with my type 1 or D1 without D1 i just would not b who i am and as mad as it sounds somtimes am glad i am different from everybody else so yaa boo to the world
I just got a tattoo commemorating my Ride to Cure for JDRF in Death Valley. I cycled 105 miles in 103 degree heat and had the time of my life. My very cool wife got a matching tattoo. I'll post pictures as soon as I get a good one. My next one is ...

For all those diabetics who are tired of tasteless, drab and generally unappealing recipes aimed at us. I'm taking a stand--who wants to join me? Post your healthy, but TASTY recipes that you love!

I'm majoring in Geology (Volcanology). I love being outside (backpacking, caving, camping, etc). I *love* to cook *anything*, but my specialty is turning recipes into healthier versions of themselves--if it doesn't taste good, why bother eating it? I also love tearing up the yard ("landscaping"), dogs (we have a rescue Giant Schnauzer named Django), and tattoos--I *love* tattoos...I also *heart* my insulin pump!
These are my beloved mountains..
