Its Official

Hey all,As a follow up to a discussion I started a couple years ago, I'm happy to say I am now the first certified T1 commercial diver in Canada. Have about 10 dives in now in the last couple weeks with no issues. There's a slew of restrictions but seeing as I'm the first, they will likely be relaxed as time goes on. Even made a glucose delivery system for the kirby morgan hats (17 - 77) for those long dives.Anyway, if you run…See More

Welcome to TuDiabetes.org, diadiva!
I'm still pretty new to TuDiabetes, but I can tell you first-hand that I think you'll find this site filled with positive energy and excellent information. All you need to do is look around and make yourself at home...if you have any questions, there is always someone to help. I am personally willing to do whatever I can to help newly diagnosed people adjust...I've lived with type 1 for nearly 45 years and been through quite a bit. I have a few "tricks of the trade" to deal with things easier. So I'm here as is everyone else if you need them!
