Doris D said… Our Annual Campaign is coming!
Would you consider helping by writing a short comment/testimonial about your
experiences at TuD? The main message for the campaign this year is that no
one with diabetes should ever feel alone. Messages from our community give
people a real-life, personal sense of how valuable TuDiabetes is to each of
us, how it's changed our lives, etc.
If you can, please include a photo of you doing something diabetic (if that
makes sense LOL). Please post to this group
(http://www.tudiabetes.org/group/why-i-participate-in-this-community), or
message to jrtpup on her page.
Thanks my friends!
Hii.. How r u?
Just saw ur enquiry regarding sugar free gold.. its not that safe as it contains aspartame, which is not good for body.. Instead u can use Sugar Free Natura, provides the same taste and is safe..
i use it myself.. these sugar substitues shld b consumed in moderate amounts only..
muleman said… I understood it was just a 'sugar free' substitute like Saccharin. Let me know if I'm correct please!
manish thakur said… u can easily take 3 pallets of sugar free gold ,it is not going to harm u in any case ,,it does not increase ur blood sugar,,n dont worry ,,live life with a positive attitude n dont be disappointed with this ....there are lot of clinical trials going on in the world for permanently cure of this disease and to make life better for us..so dont be embaress and have patience ,,,we will live more good life ,,,
manish thakur said… Hey,,y r u so upset with ur life ,, diabetes does not mean end of sweetness in ur life ,,u can also eat sweets in ur life but in that case u will have to increase ur medicine intake ,,,its simple,,,but it does not mean that u always start eating sweets after taking more medicine,,it should be applied only when u have a very strong desire to eat sweets....dont worry life is not so poor as u r thinking now after being diabetic,,,,

Randall Wong, M.D. said… The fact that you are diabetic does not mean that Lasik can not be done. Some centers won't do it, but if you are free of retinopathy, no cataract and have stable sugars....you should consider your options to correct your near-sightedness.
Good luck! Let us know.
