Sorry...I am not shy, I just have no clue how to post a photo. This is my dear departed greyhound from an old file. I was diagnosed with type 1, 3 years ago at 50. People wondered how I got "adult onset diabetes" while living such a healthy lifestyle. Hmmm......shows you how uninformed the lucky, general public is. I jumped in and read everything I could get my hands on and started out committed to besting this with tight control. After some scary lows and raging hormonal highs, I have lost my… Continue

LOL! Our dogs (yes dogs) sleep with us. For a bit there both the chawas (I know sp) took up my side of the bed and REFUSED to let me sleep on my side. They only wanted their dad to sleep with them. The nuts growled ( yes growled) if I tried to sleep on my side soo the couch was my place til I knocked the crap out of both of them (and my husband) to get my side back now they sleep inbetween us but on the nights my g-daughters or g-son stay with us they reluctanly give up the middle for them LOL!

OMG those stupid hot flashes! That was the ONLY time my husband & I agreeed on the temp in the house. LOL!

We're doing fine. How's things with u? It took me about 8 years to get mine gone so that means from 40-48. Hey at the 1st of this year I finally quit throwing the cover off me. Then after a hot flash grabbing them back up b/c I was freezing. LOL!

My neice was wondering if the greyhound was yours and if so she was wondering if it was a girl and could ask questions.

Elaine:

Your comment brings to mind a cute saying I saw years ago where I worked. "If I am expected to soar with eagles, how come I work with a bunch of turkeys!" lol

Right now I am getting tired of flapping my arms and need to rest. Soaring is hard because people see you and then that's all they want to see you do. I really am nothing but a big bowl of jello on the inside. I don't know where I get this strength that everyone keeps crediting me with!

Well, better buzz off. Too many messages to answer.

Love ya,
Lois
