Hi Erika,

Sorry for the delay in replying...I'm doing really well thank you! I am 27 1/2 weeks pregnant, and feeling great, now if only it will stay this way!!! How are things with you?

Hi! Thanks for adding me! My great A1c is probably due to 1) my Omnipod pump, 2) not snacking, 3) being a master "carb guesser", and 4) correcting for anything over 100. the work has paid off. and now it's just easy for me to have an A1c in the 5's. My past 4 A1c's have been 5.6, 5.6, 5.7, and now 5.3 I feel great!

Hi Erika, thanks for the friend add! How are you? Have you run any marathons lately?

doh! I commented on my own profile accidentally.
oh that's awesome! I just went to England and some of Europe in September and I loved it! I definitely want to do some more travelling. The problem is we're so far away from everything in Aus. It's very hard to just duck away for a weekend. You have to make it a much longer trip. I would like to go to Mexico as well. My husband and I are going to Bali in March with some friends. So I'm very much looking forward to that! Where's next for you?
I'm about to go to bed so apologies if I dont reply back for a bit.

Erika,

You can get more info on the UCSF Diabetes Teaching Center classes here:

http://ucsf.mightyminnow.com/type1/workshops-and-classes/index.html

I found the one class that I took there very helpful. It appears that they are also offering some online classes -- I'll have to click on a few of their new inks to investigate.

Good luck.
