I was dx'd with diabetes when I was 8. Then at about 36 or 37 I was dx'd with MS. About one month after I got my first pump I'm told I now have a new disease that requires shots! If you can, get on one of the medications quickly and stick with it....

Yes I have had it for 8 years now. I went throuhg all the tests and had a biopsy of my nerve taken. It was all positive for it. I have good days and bad but never without pain. It effects my entire body.

I don't change mine as often as I should either. every two weeks. I find it the needles get very dull and it hurts to poke my finger. Besides I would be worried about how dirty the needle is and infection.

Frustrated with dieting

It seems like when I try to do realy good at eating right my blood sugars are low alot. I don't like the feeling of being low.. If I am high I can't do anything becasue my heart is racing and I feel like my brain is on ice and my eyes feel wierd and my body is tired. Why is it so hard to keep it leveled. And this makes it all the more difficult to loose weight and keep it off. I am going to see an endo. tomorrow. I hope he is not too hard on me.

Hello from a fellow resident of the Land of Lincoln. Been up in your area many times. Had a college roommate from Freeport, in fact. God bless you.
