I've lived with Type 1 Diabetes for 42 years and TO THIS DAY, I find it hard to believe I'm still living. I've lived a very, very carefree life, believe me, and now that I'm older and wiser, I want to learn as much as I can so that I can take care of myself and be around for those that love me.

victoza is not an insulin, but it does lower blood sugar for people with type 2. glad you are finding some discussions of interest! Gosh I've learned so much since I joined here, and we strive for "no blame, no shame" atmosphere. I have a prettty serious case of hero worship for our founder Manny and his wife Andreina. are you on Twitter? I am @MarieBe there

omg! you look exactly like your sister! yes, I met her at our quilting guild, she's new, and I try to get to know all the new people. we've gotten very large so it can sometimes be hard for new people to get to know everyone. I wear my pump "out" and I'm alwys talking about TuDiabetes and handing out TuDiabetes cards, so I know I gave one to your sister. WELCOME again!

we have had tons of discussions about lows, and recently we had one about passing out and seizures. I guess I'm pretty lucky I've had it 44 years and I've never passed out or needed and emt for my diabetes. Just let me know and I'll send you links. I'm proud to be an admin here and I am so grateful for the info and support I got when I joined here, I want to give back all I can.
