Not By Choice

Last November I wrote a song for World Diabetes Day which I played on a vlog post.

It was one of the first songs I have ever written that honestly came to me on the drive home from work! After the vlog went up, I had a lot of people asking for a copy to download. As much as I liked the words and the way I sang it, it was not complete.

Calling On the Community!

I have been smoke free for over 2 years now. It has been a long road but one that I was able to handle because of the support of my family, friends, and the Diabetes Online Community! All of your comments, support, ideas, stories, and cheering made quitting much MUCH easier.

So now I need your help. Or I should say, I need your support to help a friend of mine.

Then the tears came.

I wrote this song hoping that someone would not feel so alone with their disease (although this site is proof that being alone is necessary) but all of the comments I received made me not feel so alone.

The… Continue

Pook - just looking back at the ipod shuffle discussion and this song was on your list. Lately I've become a lot more tolerant of covers. You will like this jazzed up version. Mad me cry.
