Hello! How's everything? I see you're a writer...do you write mostly for a paper (editor)? Have you had the chance to look up any of the groups? Do you have any questions/comments/suggestions?

I am part of the Welcome Committee and was just checking in on you to make sure you are aware of all that TuDiabetes has to offer. We would love to hear from you so here is a helpful link where you can read about all the things you can do in the community.

Hi Alison, I noticed you were from the Bay area. My daughter is living out in CA and we (my husband and I) went out to visit in April. She was living in Manteca at the time. It is so beautiful out there. We went to Sanfranciso one day. It was a little chilly that day. But we had clam chowder in bread bowls and it was delicious. We saw the "bush man" and got a big kick out of him. I live in North Carolina and it is definetly a different culture out there. My daughter's finace is a minor league baseball player and plays for the Stockton Ports - part of the A's. She was a travel nurse in Santa Clara. She is coming back this way in a few weeks. Of course he will stay out in Stockton and maybe be moved up to the team in Midland Texas soon. I'll stop rambling on...just wanted to say hi and welcome you to the site.

Hi Everyone,
What a nice welcome. I'm glad I found this site. I'm a technical editor/writer. Mostly I write product marketing materials for Oracle and edit online reference materials. I work from home, so I don't have to commute.

I look forward to getting to know you all.

Welcome to the TuDiabetes community, hmbalison! I lived almost the entire decade of the 1990's in your area, having worked in Salinas, lived in Sunnyvale, Foster City and ultimately in San Francisco's Cow Hollow neighborhood! Anyway, I just wanted to welcome you aboard!

Hello neighbor! Welcome to the TuDiabetes family!

I live in Palo Alto but find my way to the city a few times per month. I am also LADA.

How do you measure the work of volunteers?

329,040 minutes, 329,040 moments so dear. 329,040 minutes — How do you measure, measure volunteers? In smileys, in tears shed, in counsel, in cups of coffee. In units, in carb counts, in laughter, in strife. In 329,040 minutes – how …
