LOL! Yep it can make a big differance. I'm allergic (well that's what my Dr says anyway. I've just come to terms I can't take it) to regular insulin. Only the long acting for me. I can go into seizers with 1/2 unit of it. Been pumping now for 21 years. LOVE MY PUMP but my A!C isn't as good as yours bEFORE you started pumping but it has gone from 9.5 to 8.2 and stayed steady at that for about a year or more and I can live w/it.

I want to know how you've got that A1C? I took Type 1 in 73 and haven't seen one like that for awhile.
