"Another thought : did you wash both hands before the tests ?? Did you wipe the first drop of blood and use the second drop ? My nurse keeps reminding me to do this . first drop equals interstitional fluid : a possible different outcome ...."

"You get a big difference because the new meters are loosy. plus or minus 20% which is a huge error. ten years ago I had a meter that was always 5% below the lab test very accurate and then there was little difference between figure to figure hand to…"

"if you are above 70 mg/dl your meter is only accurate to +/- 20% of reading. TWENTY PERCENT! so, you could get a 195 on one finger, then a 234 on another and that is totally normal. you could test 1 second later and get a 156 and you rmeter is still…"
