I am part of the Welcome Committee and was just checking in on you to make sure you are aware of all that TuDiabetes has to offer. We would love to hear from you so click on About Us and please read the New Member Guide where you can read about all the things you can do in the community.
I look forward to seeing you add a photo and to hearing from you again soon.

Your A1C isn't too bad, but I understand the doctors like them even lower. The only thing I have found to help keep mine lower, is avoiding White flour products. Wheat is good.

Unfortunately, I'm not the best source of info for how to get motivated to exercise. That's been a thorn in my side for ages now. However, I know if I lived in Hawaii, I'd be outside gardening year-round - gardening can be great exercise!

I have tons of advice about healthy eating though, so let me know if I can help you with that.

My brother and I do weight lifting. Maybe if you stuck with upper body exercises, that would help? Juggling- even sitting down- always lowers my blood sugar pretty dramatically.
