Surgery...

Posted on March 2, 2010 at 1:41am 0 Comments

Ok, so tomorrow I'm having the Essure procedure done.

Normally it's an office procedure, but my docs office doesn't have the facilities to do that just yet.

So... I'm going into the hopsital to have it done and will be asleep.

They know I'm a pumper and all, but I'm nervous.

Anyone on the pump and have surgery?

Thanks.

Also, I'm quite depressed about the American Diabetes Association and Medicare (who's guidelines my insurance has decided to…

glad you are back. The fairgrounds are just down the street from my house, so I volunteer every day. There are so many areas you can enter the competition in handwork, food, art. what hobbies do you have?

Thanks for the response on lows. You are the first person I've seen who mentions a white blind spot. I've been having that but I have not yet associated it with lows. Since you mentioned it I will watch and see if that is when I get it. I feel the lows but now it seems I don't feel them nearly as soon or nearly as much as I used to. I think it's the tighter control also. Plus, with the pump I've lost 20 lbs and finally figured out I had to change some major settings. I had moved I:C and Basal but now that my ISF has been changed I'm seeing a better balance. Thanks.

Yep I know exactly what you mean!!! I took Type 1 way back in the early 70's and up til I found this site I felt like I was doing it all wrong and felt like an outcast but here we all have one common gole in mine and we really aren't that judgemental about how you go about doing it. Manny (our beloved founder) had a GREAT idea when he came up with this idea! I rwally hope you like it here and I know you will love the ppl here. Atleast I do!!!!!!!!
