jims replied to Dina Ralt's discussion 'Is Type 2 Diabetes a Misnomer?'
"I agree. Either you are type 1 and everything else is type 2. Problem really is that type 2 seems to arise over excess glucose and saturation of back half of system from a grab bag of liver, pancreas, kidneys, intestines, thyroid multiple organs and…"

jims replied to hello123's discussion 'does exercise also raise blood sugar in diabetes ?'
"10-4 acidrock23; That is what I do. I hav ebeen up to 340 and beat it back. Initially, yes one may see blood sugar go up a little but once enough burned off muscles, they will start to draw down. Of course if got/intestine loaded one will help move…"

jims replied to David (dns)'s discussion 'Is There Such A Thing as Type 2?'
"I have to agree. We started with type 1 which as best as I can tell is specific. For all other riots we assigned the type 2 moniker. There is not incorrect argument/comment here. In fact for us type 2's what is the failure - liver, kidneys,…"

Great to hear those details and the list of supplements as I am very much in favour of them. This month I had LDL of 2.11 mmol and HDL of 2.15 and a ratio of 2.07 and I attribute it to the supplements I take, but I stopped 5 days ahead of the tests so it would not interfere with the machinery and test pads giving accurate results. I still haven't started back on the MultiVitMin as I am considering some tests that I want to do without supplements to see my reduced level due to age.

Then I will go back on the DHEA and more that really help. I've been off DHEA since around June and I feel OLD in comparison.

It is not illegal to take steroids if one is not competing and the only concern is not to take too much. I make sure I research enough. I feel a LOT worse not taking it.
