jims replied to GrassEater's discussion 'What is your approach to managing T2 on diet and exercise only?'
"Obviously; if one can control with diet and exercise only - great! On the other hand as the body ages and any other organ/hormone level that wanders off optimum; the drugs such as insulin, metformin and others may be needed to tune up and aging body!"

jims replied to jack's discussion 'Newcastle liver/pancreas T2 remission diet'

jims replied to jack's discussion 'Newcastle liver/pancreas T2 remission diet'

jims replied to Karen's discussion 'I want one'
"Yes and that is why I always had the caveman fingerprick machine and extra strips to cross check when I saw suspicious behavior and readings. This was critical to staying sane and reducing riots!"

jims replied to Karen's discussion 'I want one'
"The indication that they do not need a caveman fingerprick reading/cal is suggestive that they have a extra oxygen sensor that can read the o2 levels and create absolute readings. That is reason for the calibration readings on a daily basis on the…"

Great to hear those details and the list of supplements as I am very much in favour of them. This month I had LDL of 2.11 mmol and HDL of 2.15 and a ratio of 2.07 and I attribute it to the supplements I take, but I stopped 5 days ahead of the tests so it would not interfere with the machinery and test pads giving accurate results. I still haven't started back on the MultiVitMin as I am considering some tests that I want to do without supplements to see my reduced level due to age.

Then I will go back on the DHEA and more that really help. I've been off DHEA since around June and I feel OLD in comparison.

It is not illegal to take steroids if one is not competing and the only concern is not to take too much. I make sure I research enough. I feel a LOT worse not taking it.
