diabesties facebook group is providing diabetics (in the 18-30 demographic) with a resource to find local diabetics to connect with and begin text messaging your numbers to (and they will text theirs to you). my friends and i have found this to be incredibly helpful in managing our diabetes and also providing us with support throughout the day and a helpful reminder to check our sugar and take insulin at the appropriate times. friend me on facebook and i can add you to you group!
