we are 1 1/2 hours from NYC. It's about a 15 minute drive to PA, and twice a month I go to my quilting guild in Orange County NY, about 55 minute drive. It's been a beautiful place to live, right now we are in the middle of a big snow!

We live at the very top of NJ, very rural! no interstates in the county or malls or starbucks - lots of farms, and wildlife!

Welcome juha- this is a very friendly and informative community of great people all having D in common. We all help each other with support and advice ( if wanted.) Good luck with your new adventures in diabetesland.

I'm in NJ now, but my parents are in Falls Church, and thank God they live in a retirement home, so they did not have to deal with the snow too much. and now I hear more is on the way! I think they are predicting 6-12 for us.
