Switching back to previous pump

Hey Everyone,I originally had an Animas Ping pump and I switched to an Omnipod pump after 1.5 years. I paid for the Onmipod Remote out of pocket via a promotion offered through insulet corp.2 things happened:1 My new insurance doesn't have insult as one of their "preferred providers". They prefer people use either Animas or Medtronic and it is cheaper to do so for supplies and such.2. I don't care for the omnipod and I want to switch back. I still have my old pump. If I switch back is that…See More

I am doing well right now. Life has been a little crazy- lots of personal drama on top of working long hours. Having a hard time balancing diabetes and exercise. Hard to get into a regular routine :/ Hope you get into the school you want to go to.

Oh, good luck! I still really want the Omnipod- except the size is just a bit large. I know they are working on getting a smaller version out to current users, but it's been in the works for years so who knows when it is coming out. The Ping is my second choice of the three main ones.

Part of me wants a pump, the other part is still going, "WTF, you have diabetes?"

Oh well! Let me know how the Ping goes, or I'll watch for a post from you on the forums!
