Kait uses a new lancet every time she checks her bgl (at least 8 per day) - our insurance covers her lancets @ 100% (we get 300 a month) so it doesn't make sence not to use a new one with each chec...

Cool, thanks for the thought. I never thought of going that route, but since the new endo belongs to the same group as the old endo he doesn't accept my insurance either. I'm going to take your advice and give Dexcom a call. Maybe they can recomme...

Hello!
Here in Finland is law about school...and etc of course, I think there is same way with difficult questions what cannot ask from schools principal or someone who is "the boss" there.
My son is 9 years and expl this schoolyear he isn´t went to school´s nursingroom any at once. he take care himself at school and I just wait here at home that everything is going to be OK... and he manage great, anyway, teacher have juice and something sweet with him just "if Lasse´s bloodsugar is going down" and that is quite fine thing, even I waited more when school started this autums...new teacher...
Take care of your rights!! Have a nice autumn =)

This is in response to your comment about the school. We have been blessed with a wonderful school district, but I have heard some awful stories. Before I sent Becky back to school, I did some research. Make sure that you child has a 504 plan to force the school to do what is in the plan. I read this after Becky was diagnosed. Start here:

Just copy paste.
