Catie said… Hi Karen,
Just wanted to encourage you. I started on shots in March. By being really careful of what I eat, counting carbs and 5 needles a day, I brought my A1C down from 9.5 to 7.9 in 3 months. You can do it too! I would love to meet you sometime when you are in Kingston. Perhaps we can figure something out.

TuDiabetes is a great place to seek support, information, advice, and general friendship. Be sure to introduce yourself on the forums; tell us your story. Also, take part in a conversation or lose yourself in the tons and tons of information. If you need any help or have any questions, feel free to ask! - Matt
brokenpole said… Welcome to the family! On this forum you will learn so much. Most of all you will learn that you are not alone. Everyone here is supportive and will provide answers to your questions. Search the site for answers. Read the discussions and blogs for information. There are videos to help you understand diabetes and its treatment. Most of all there is family to talk to and even to vent to, if needed. Welcome home.
