Hi Katico,

Caro is actually short for Caroline, so no, not Spanish. I have Italian heritage though...

I work in London, so if you're ever there with a toothache, you can drop in. London and Brussels will be really close when the new high-speed Eurostar starts in a couple of weeks. It will then be faster for me to reach Brussels than to reach Liverpool here in England! I'll be coming your way in early December, but going on to Brugge for the weekend. Looking forward to the Christmas markets!

Here are a few tips on how to make the most of the site. I invite you check out the different groups we have: there's an excellent chance you will find more than a few that you can identify with.

Please make sure to post a photo to your profile when you get a chance.

If you find the community useful, please:
-Link to us on your blog/site (if you have one).
-Invite family, friends, colleagues and anyone whom you feel may benefit from it.
-Consider making a donation by clicking on the "Donate" button on the right side of the page, to support the work we do.

Also, if you know of any local newspapers, TV or radio stations that you feel could be interested in writing about our community, please let them know about our recent Press Release, announcing the community: http://www.prweb.com/releases/2007/8/prweb546849.htm

Last, if you run into Spanish-only speaking folks, please let them know about EsTuDiabetes.com, our sister Spanish-speaking community.

Welcome to our growing family! This is funny I know but when I was a kid I thought Brussels was where my mom found Brussel sprouts! But that was OK I loved them and still do!
